Terri S. Reiskin
Terri Reiskin is a litigator whose practice focuses on products liability litigation, class action defense and other complex litigation. Her products liability practice, which includes serving as national and regional counsel, has involved a variety of products, including automobiles, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and food products.
Terri's national counsel experience includes defending a major U.S. automobile manufacturer in connection with its occupant restraint litigation, and the defense of multiple, related class actions against automobile manufacturers and automotive suppliers. She has also served as national coordinating counsel on hot coffee litigation for a fast food chain. She has defended dozens of class action suits, both at the trial and appellate levels.
Terri is also actively involved in defending individual products liability suits on a regional and national basis. In addition to her ongoing representation of a major U.S. auto maker, she has an active medical device litigation practice, which has included the defense of cases involving silicone gel breast implants, bone screws, latex gloves, knee implants and pacemakers. She has also handled a variety of medical malpractice cases. Her civil litigation practice has included such diverse matters as attorney professional liability and environmental enforcement actions. In addition to trial work, she has briefed and argued numerous appellate cases and has participated in various forms of alternative dispute resolution. She is also involved in counseling clients on products liability matters not involving litigation.
Following graduation from law school, Terri served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Thomas Penfield Jackson of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Before joining Wallace King Domike & Reiskin, she was a partner at Hogan & Hartson L.L.P. in Washington, D.C.
